We are growing and looking for a very personable, outgoing, and experienced candidate to join our specialized children's dental practice in Ancaster. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently.
We are:
- A thriving dual specialty practice for Pediatric Dentistry working on children cradle to college age while awake or asleep.
- Located in Ancaster
REQUIREMENTS
- Dental reception experience with a positive mind set
- Ability to multitast
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) and Healthy Smiles of Ontario (HSO)
- Experience in Dentrix is a asset
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar using Dentrix .
- confirming insurance information and processing payments.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered.

- uploading x-rays into dental software
- maintaining consistent scheduling
- financial treatment planning
- sending insurance claims and predeterminations
- sending receiving and and replying to emails
- communicating with referring dental and medical offices
- communication with all insurance companies
