Technalogix Ltd. is a Canadian-owned manufacturer of high-performance RF amplifier systems and related equipment for broadcast, industrial, scientific, medical, and defense applications. We design and build rugged, reliable systems in-house, with a strong focus on quality, repeatability, and supporting Canadian supply chains. Our team is growing as we expand production of RF amplifier enclosures and supporting hardware for a military program.
We’re hiring a Metal Shop Laborer to support day-to-day production in our metal shop. This role focuses on operating and feeding metal fabrication equipment, supporting the Shop Manager, and helping produce metal enclosures and related components used in our RF amplifier systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Feed and operate the turret punch, Brake Press, and Shear
- Install PEMs (nuts/standoffs/inserts) into sheet metal parts
- Assist the Shop Manager with production flow and shop tasks
- Support fabrication and assembly of metal enclosures for RF amplifier systems used in a military project
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment
- Ability to follow instructions, drawings, and basic production check steps
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new processes
- Previous experience with turret punch / brake press is an asset (training can be provided for the right candidate)
- Ability to lift and handle sheet metal parts safely
