Barry Cullen Chevrolet Cadillac is looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join a close-knit team that has been a cornerstone of the Guelph community for over 55 years.
You will be joining a four-person parts team supported by a parts manager, serving a busy shop and an established wholesale business. It is a high-volume, relationship-driven environment where your expertise and reliability make a real difference every day.

What You Will Do
- Source, order, and manage parts inventory to keep service and wholesale operations running smoothly
- Build trusted relationships with retail customers, wholesale accounts, and service technicians
- Identify the correct parts quickly and accurately using electronic catalogues and dealer systems
- Handle special orders, track their status, and communicate proactively with customers
- Partner closely with service technicians to ensure timely delivery of required parts
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies before they become problems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-documented parts department
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in a dealership or automotive parts environment (strongly preferred)
- Experience with a dealer management system (DMS) or OEM parts cataloguing software — Quorum experience is a significant asset
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
- High attention to detail and a follow-through mindset
- Organized and self-directed, comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role, including lifting and extended periods on your feet
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- A Journeyman Certificate or post-secondary training in a related field is an asset
