Pharmacy and Medical Clinic is looking for an experienced Nurse LPN/RPN to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive health care to clients and patients of all ages within the LPN’s scope of practice according to the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Practice.
Duties:
Assisting the Pharmacist with Professional services such as medication reviews
Liaison for patient care between Clinic and Pharmacy
Marketing and informing patients of Pharmacy Services
Other Pharmacy Assistant duties in the dispensary, as needed
Blood Pressure and other clinical measurements
Vaccinations, Dressing changes,
Health education & counselling to clients, their families
Providing support to Physicians in the Clinic, as required
Providing test results or information to patients/clients
Assist in referring clients to specialists, hospital and/or community agencies as needed
Assisting with allergy testing under physician supervision
Reception duties when needed
Patient education and explanation of services provided
Other duties as advised by Supervisor or designate
Qualifications:
Current RPN qualification and designation
Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Experience in community health and/or family practice setting
Clinical practice experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency using computers and Electronic Medical Records (Telus PS Suite EMR)
Flexibility to work some evenings
Bilingual English-French is an asset.
This is a Part-Time position that may lead to Full-Time based on performance. Benefist available once Full Time
All applicants will be required to provide proof of full vaccination as a condition of employment.
Pay: $26.03-$44.10 per hour
