Residential Child and Youth Care Worker – Maple Ridge work available
Job Description
The Ridge Meadows Association for Community Living is currently accepting applications for a Residential Child and Youth Worker in one of its Staffed Children’s Residential Group Homes. A diploma or certificate and/or experience in a field related to supporting children with developmental disabilities is required.
There are numerous part-time and full-time positions available.
Successful candidates must have or be ready to acquire:
- MANDT Training
- Class 5, BC Driver’s License (Class 4 an Asset)
- First Aid/CPR
- Cleared Criminal Record Check
- Clearance from Physician
- Successful applicant(s) will be required to complete an MCFD HUB screening process. This includes a Criminal Record Check and Prior Contact with MCFD check
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered for this position.
Position Classification: Residential Child & Youth Worker - Grid Level 11 - BCGEU Collective Agreement. Wage rate - $29.22-$33.57 (plus an additional 10.6% for lieu of benefits; casual staff)
An abundance of local work available, opportunity to work part-time and full-time available, particularly for afternoons and weekends (all shifts)
