Wilco Contractors NORTHWEST Inc. is a commercial landscape company in Fort McMurray seeking qualified CAT EXCAVATOR/SKID STEER OPERATORS.
Requirements: experience a must, this is not a training position. Dependable transportation, willing to work long hours. An operator that can run multiple machines is an asset (skid/excavator)
Shift is 6 days a week, 12 hours a day. OT after 8 hours and OT after 40 hours a week.
Applicant must have accommodations in Fort McMurray. All our projects are in town and no work is done at "site"
Pay Rate is $27.00-36.00/hr depending on experience.
Responsibilities include:
Ability to use various implements:tree spade, sweeper, various buckets
Ability to grade topsoil, sub grade, load trucks
Ability to read grading stakes.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently
Basic understanding of safety paperwork, FLHA, Ground disturbance is an asset
Comfortable with safety inspections, loading skid steer/excavator onto trailer and strapping down for moving from site to site
Ability to communicate with co-workers and take direction from supervisors
Ability to work under pressure
Physically able to perform all physical actions pertinent to the job, and equipment operation.
