Southwest Excavation is a family-owned excavation company delivering underground servicing and excavation projects across residential, agricultural, and commercial sectors.
We are currently looking for an dependable, experienced Pipe Layer to join our team.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Install storm, sanitary, and watermain piping systems
- Read and interpret civil drawings and grades
- Set pipe to line and grade
- Work with lasers, grades, and elevations
- Coordinate with operators and labourers in trench
- Ensure proper bedding, alignment, and installation
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to OSHA standards during all operations
What You Bring:
- 1–3+ years experience laying pipe in civil construction
- Ability to read blueprints and understand grades
- Experience with underground servicing
- Valid G Driver’s License
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork
- Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and best practices
- Familiarity with construction tools and techniques related to equipment operation is desirable
