Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment, supporting the overall efficiency of our food service operations. This role is essential in maintaining a hygienic environment that meets health and safety standards, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Wash, scrub, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Load and unload dishwashers efficiently to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
- Ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning to prevent cross-contamination.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing areas, including floors, counters, and sinks.
- Follow safety procedures and proper handling techniques for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by helping with light food prep or other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Experience in cleaning and maintaining sanitation standards in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations.
- Previous restaurant or hotel experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations is advantageous.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues.
