Job Summary
We are seeking 2 dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor's to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our clients hotel and facilities. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in hospitality and hotel operations, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage a team of housekeeping staff while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures tailored to the needs of the facility.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance, inventory usage, and maintenance requests.
Requirements
- 3 years proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or hotel industry is preferred.
- 3 years Hotel Housekeeping experience a must
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and industrial cleaning standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while promoting a positive work environment.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with staff and guests professionally.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
- Previous custodial experience is a plus.
These positions are full time, you must be legally able to work 40 hours on your SIN.
