Amped Energy Services specializes in Flushbys, Rod Rigs, Hot Oilers, Grippers and Service Rigs. We constantly strive to increase the standard of service.
Amped is currently looking for a 2nd year Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic with the primary responsibility of maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of our fleet. We are hiring for our Leduc location.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair of equipment, trucks, and trailers
- Diagnose the cause of malfunction and complete necessary repairs
- Comply with safety program, procedures, and practices
- Ensure the work area is clean
- Assist in moving large parts
- Work in a safe and responsible manner
- Maintain service records (work orders, timesheets)
- Participate in monthly shop inspections
- Operate shop mechanic truck when needed for field repairs on equipment
Requirements:
- 2nd year Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice
- Experience working Rod Rigs and Service Rigs is an asset but not required
- Perform duties that range from routine preventative maintenance to repairing major breakdowns, including troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Valid driver's license

- Heavy Equipment Mechanics: 2 years (required)
