Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Blister Machine Operator to join our Solid Dose Packaging team. Reporting to the Sr. Supervisor, Solid Dose Packaging, the Blister Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, cleaning, and maintaining blister packaging equipment while ensuring compliance with GMP and SOP requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and operate blister packaging and bottle filling equipment
- Perform equipment checks, line clearances, and splice detector challenges
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot operational issues
- Complete production and cleaning documentation accurately
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOP, safety, and PPE requirements
- Inspect packaging materials and finished product for quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized production area
- Assist with equipment cleaning, changeovers, and preventative maintenance
- Support production targets while maintaining quality standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing or packaging experience preferred
- GMP experience considered an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work shifts, overtime, and on call when required
- Electrical, mechanical, or PLC experience is an asset
COMPENSATION
- The starting rate for this position is $20.69 per hour. This a 12-month contract position.
