About the Role:
Currently, Technica is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team as an Accountant reporting to the Corporate Controller.
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Entering and validating data in accounting systems (ERP, Excel)

Posting cash receipts from clients and managing Accounts Receivable

Reviewing and posting Accounts Payable entries

Drafting journal entries, including accruals and adjustments

Preparing tax and burden remittances for review

Assisting with procurement training for site coordinators and superintendents

Completing internal audits and assisting in month-end reporting

Ensuring accuracy in financial recording and compliance
- Maintaining organized records for audits and regulatory reviews

Additional duties as required to support accounting and organizational goals
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary Business Administration and/or Accounting diploma or equivalent required

1-2 years experience in accounting role and familiarity with Canadian accounting standards required

Bilingualism in French and English required

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and data entry

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to plan, organize and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task while upholding strong attention to detail

Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
