Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. You will be responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of our property to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for both guests and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks (basic plumbing, HVAC, electrical, ventilation, painting, and minor repairs).
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel areas to identify maintenance needs.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities .
- Assist with equipment installation or small fabrication projects as needed.
- Oversee external contractors during specific maintenance work.
- keep public areas clean
Requirements:
- Flexible
- Previous experience in building or hotel maintenance.
- Solid mechanical skills and ability to read technical diagrams.
- Familiarity with basic electrical systems and troubleshooting.
- Basic welding is an asset, but not mandatory.
- Good communication skills in both English and French.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
