Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator (Dental/Orthodontic Experience Required)

We are currently seeking an experienced, friendly, detail-oriented, and organized Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to join our team.
Please note: Only candidates with previous orthodontic or dental office experience will be considered. This role requires familiarity with dental terminology, patient care, and clinical workflows.
The successful candidate will guide patients through their orthodontic journey, ensuring an exceptional experience from their initial consultation through treatment. This position involves patient education, financial coordination, scheduling, and ongoing communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with new patients to explain orthodontic treatment plans, procedures, and benefits.
- Present financial arrangements, including insurance coverage and payment plan options.
- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits.
- Maintain accurate records of treatment plans, patient interactions, and financial agreements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing questions and concerns throughout treatment.
- Collaborate closely with the orthodontist, dental assistants, and administrative team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in an orthodontic or dental office is required.
- Experience as a Treatment Coordinator is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain treatment plans and financial information clearly and confidently.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience with dental practice management software (such as Orthotrac) is an asset.
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology is required.
