The Department of Athletics and Recreation (a division of Student Affairs) provides students, staff, faculty, alumni and the greater community the opportunity to pursue athletic excellence and recreational activities. Job Summary
We have many opportunities available for our Sports Information Assistant role starting this September! We are hiring for those with experience in digital hosting, video production and editing, photography, graphic design! These roles provide support in the capturing of all varsity athletics communications and information initiatives. Please note these are casual roles with no guarantee of hours.
Some of the main accountabilities include:
1. Assist in the production of communication materials, including photos, videos, and written content
for the Marauders.ca website.
2. Develop, and implement an organizational method for all stored content.
3. Maintain Marauders social media accounts with guidance from Sport Information and Marketing
Coordinator.
4. Conduct research on market trends, platforms, and campaigns across different post-secondary
athletic institutions.
5. Compile analytic data surrounding the Marauders athletic brand, as well as all digital platforms.
6. Provide departmental support in the execution of any summer special events.
Qualifications
Education: Preferred currently enrolled in a media or marketing program.
Experience: Past work in photography or videography, as well as design programs such as Photoshop,
InDesign, Adobe premiere, and Final Cut Pro
