Our company is looking for an experienced on the road sales representative that can maintain current sales goals and expand our business reach within Ontario. Responsibilities will include sales presentations/product demonstrations, maintaining a relationship with our current clients as well as acquiring new clients.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics. Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage.
Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Generating new clients
- Maintaining relationships with existing clients
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
- Promoting new and existing products
- Understanding of all products sold by our company
- Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients
- Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability
- Travelling to the clients to promote our products and keep them updated with new pricing and products
- Coordinating and communicating with other staff and sales representative on orders that need to be processed
Sales Representative Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics or related field
- Experience in sales
- Understanding of hardwood, vinyl, and/or laminate flooring
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
- A commitment to excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers
- Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment
- G Licence
