Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Server/Baristas/ line cook. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant food service environment, providing exceptional service while preparing and serving beverages and light food items. Duties
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation and food safety procedures to maintain cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Manage multiple responsibilities such as serving tables, handling cash registers, and maintaining cleanliness of workstations.
- Ensure proper food handling practices are followed to uphold safety standards.
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings to make recommendations and upsell items when appropriate.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for accurate order entry and cashiering.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
