As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with Service Advisors regarding customer vehicle's condition and repair needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop environment.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive repair with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to assemble and weld components as needed for repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Previous experience working in a dealership setting is preferred but not required.
- A valid driver's license is necessary for this position.
