Job Description
Happy at Home Health Care Services is currently seeking two professional and reliable After-Hours Scheduling Coordinators to join our team. This is a flexible, remote (work-from-home) on-call position that is ideal for individuals who are calm under pressure, highly organized, and comfortable working independently during non-business hours.
Please note: This is not a high-volume call position. You are only required to respond when caregivers or clients call with scheduling needs during your assigned on-call week. There may be periods with little or no activity, but you must remain available during your scheduled hours.
Position Overview
This is a rotational after-hours position providing scheduling and coordination support outside of regular office hours. Team members work on a one-week-on / one-week-off rotation, ensuring continuous after-hours coverage.
Schedule
- Weekdays: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM, and 6:00 AM – 8:00/9:00 AM
- Weekends: Full coverage required during your scheduled on-call week
- Rotation: One week on / one week off
- This is a flexible remote position, but applicants must be available to respond promptly to calls during their assigned on-call hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to after-hours calls from caregivers and clients as needed
- Manage after-hours scheduling and coordination requests
- Communicate professionally with staff and clients by phone
- Ensure accurate and timely schedule updates
- Respond calmly and efficiently to urgent staffing needs
- Maintain clear documentation and follow established procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong professional phone etiquette with a calm, friendly, and confident communication style
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Previous scheduling or coordination experience required
- Previous after-hours or on-call experience is considered an asset
- Willingness to complete initial in-office training before transitioning to remote work
- Must reside in Airdrie
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Reliable internet connection and phone access while on call
Compensation
