Position Overview:
I'm seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and fun individual for the role of an Insurance Account Manager in our locally owned Desjardins Insurance Agency. We are a full-service insurance agency specializing in Commercial, Life, Home and Car Insurance (including all the fun products such as ATVs, Snowmobiles, RVs, Motorcycles, Boats and more!). We are growing out team through this addition, as such, this role will require the chosen candidate to exercise the right behaviours that will allow them to achieve an uncapped earning opportunity through a combination of base-salary and unlimited commissions. You will accomplish this through your "grow a business, within the business" mindset, along with your ability to nurture and grow relationships with clients. If you speak a second language, awesome!
It's not a requirement to have your insurance licenses to apply, the right individual is more important to me. We will provide the training and development necessary to be successful while also sponsoring you for the required regulatory licensing needed. Earning Potential:
$50,000 + uncapped commissions
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop client leads, schedule appointments, uncover customer needs, and present appropriate products and service solutions
- Leverage product and sales process training to build your desired income earning potential
- Provide prompt, accurate, and extraordinary client experience
- A typical day may include making calls, responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, coverages, policy changes, transfers, prospecting etc.
- Working alongside the team and Agent/Owner in growing the business while developing yourself for advancement in the business
- Be excited about the opportunity to learn and develop yourself in an exciting career
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience would be considered an asset (outside/inside sales, retail sales, telemarketing)
- Be motiviated through achievement of your own success = earning potential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Social Media tools and willing/comfortable using them to interact with clients
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to obtain your Property & Casualty and Life Insurance licenses
