Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Fiber Laser Operator to join our metal-processing company. The ideal candidate will have experience operating fiber laser cutting machines and possess a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate fiber laser cutting machines to cut and shape metal parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineered drawings
- Set up and adjust machine controls to ensure proper operation
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Hit daily performance goals
- Shift work required
Requirements:
- Over 2 years of experience operating fiber laser cutting machines
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and techniques
- Sharp attention to detail and ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task and organize on-going work for maximum machine efficiency
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
