At The Speech Society, we provide compassionate, client-centered speech therapy services to children, teens, adults, and seniors across the Greater Toronto Area through virtual and in-home care.
We are a growing multidisciplinary practice focused on flexibility, strong clinician support, and creating meaningful therapeutic relationships with families and clients.
We are currently looking for passionate and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team as independent contractors.

Compensation
- Competitive per-session compensation
- $15 driving compensation for in-home sessions
- Late cancellations and no-shows compensated if payment is collected from the client
(Compensation discussed based on session length and experience.)
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric and adult populations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient needs.
- Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive-communication skills.
- Document patient progress accurately in accordance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes when appropriate.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to support communication at home or in community settings.
- Provide services virtually and/or in clients’ homes within the GTA.
Qualifications
Required
- Registered and in good standing with College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Professional liability insurance
- G/G2 license and access to a vehicle for in-home sessions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations
- Experience providing virtual therapy
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology and patient care documentation.
