Seasonal Vaccination Staff – Full-Time, 6-Week Contract

About the Role
We are seeking LPNs, RNs, or Pharmacy Students to join our team for the 2026 flu and vaccination campaign in a busy community pharmacy.
This is a full-time seasonal position for approximately 6 weeks, ideal for someone looking for consistent hours during the peak vaccination season.
Preference will be given to candidates with previous vaccination experience in a community pharmacy, vaccination clinic, or similar high-volume setting, particularly those already familiar with ImmsBC.
Schedule
- Approximately 5–7 shifts per week
- Approximately 8–9 hours per day
- Contract runs for approximately 6 weeks starting around October 19, 2026
- Weekday and weekend availability is preferred
- Schedule may vary depending on clinic demand and staffing needs
Responsibilities
- Administer vaccinations where licensed and authorized.
- Accurately document vaccinations in ImmsBC.
- Maintain proper infection prevention and control standards.
- Provide patient education and support.
- Assist with patient intake and vaccination clinic workflow.
- Pharmacy students may assist with intake, documentation, preparation, and other clinic support duties within their permitted scope.
Qualifications
- Current registration and good standing with BCCNM for LPNs/RNs.
- Appropriate injection/immunization certification required for anyone administering vaccines.
- Pharmacy students must be enrolled in a recognized pharmacy program and eligible to participate in vaccination-clinic activities within their permitted scope.
- Previous experience administering vaccinations in a community pharmacy, vaccination clinic, public-health setting, or similar environment is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience using ImmsBC is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume vaccination environment.
- Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills.
