About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with 1–1.5 years of experience in Canada within multifamily renovation or construction. You will work closely with seasoned Project Managers and industry leaders, gaining exposure to diverse projects and learning the intricacies of the construction process.
This is a hands-on role for someone eager to learn, quick to grasp processes, and capable of working in a professional, organized manner using the technical tools and resources provided by the company. Training and support will be provided, and the ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, a strong appetite for challenge, and a team-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Support & Coordination: Assist Project Managers in preparing work orders for subcontractors and scheduling them, support in creating project estimates for review, and conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and resolve issues as guided by Project Managers.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate regularly with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project coordination and execution.
- Learning & Material Knowledge: Gain hands-on knowledge of the various materials used in multifamily renovation and construction projects and understand how they are applied across different project scenarios.
- Procurement & Material Coordination: Work closely with the procurement team to track available materials, receive deliveries from suppliers, organize materials for projects, coordinate with the delivery team to schedule deliveries, and ensure accountability for materials delivered on site.
- Proactive & Team-Oriented Mindset: Take initiative, be eager to learn, adapt to change, and contribute as a team player in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1–1.5 years of experience in multifamily renovation or construction in Canada.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work professionally and efficiently.
- Quick learner, eager to understand project intricacies and industry practices.
- Ability to speak Turkish is a plus
- Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel & Monday.com is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
