<Duties>
- Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery
- Care for animals by feeding, grooming, and monitoring their health, including livestock and equine species
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other farm machinery safely and effectively
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of equipment, including welding and basic mechanical troubleshooting
- Support irrigation systems setup and management to ensure optimal water distribution for crops
- Supervise or assist with other farm workers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, animal pens, greenhouses, and storage facilities
<Skills>
- Proven supervising experience in farm or agricultural settings
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and maintenance
- Strong animal husbandry skills with experience in animal handling and care
- Ability to operate forklifts, heavy machinery, power tools, hand tools, and irrigation systems safely
- Knowledge of horticulture, greenhouse management, and growing techniques
- Experience with farming practices including crop cultivation, greenhouse work, and sustainable agriculture methods
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
- Welding skills for equipment repairs or modifications preferred
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as tractors or harvesters is a plus
