The bakery started in 2018 and we now have expended to the downtown core of Grand Forks, BC with a breakfast & lunch menu, coffee and of course all the pastries. We craft everything from scratch using real ingredients and local as much as we can. We are looking for an experienced baker to join our amazing team!
If you don’t know Grand Forks, it’s a beautiful small town between the Kootenay and the Interior. Rivers and lake, sunshine and outdoors, that’s what the town has to offer and of course amazing pastries too!
The successful applicant would work 30-40 h a week depending of their needs. 4 Days / week. 10h shift possible if preferred.
Looking for someone with experience and understanding of production bakery with tasks such as:
- scaling, mixing and baking cookies, bars, muffins, scones, buns, foccacia
- Scaling, mixing, laminating, shaping and baking croissants, danishes, puff pastry
- prepping fruits filling, icing, glaze, pastry cream etc.
- decorating pastries for cabinets
At least 2 years of experience in a commercial bakery.
Schedule would start between 5am to 6 am depending of the needs of the bakery.
This position also include tips (shared equally among every staff)
