Prime Lift is hiring a Field Service Technician to work on automotive lifts across Nova Scotia and the Maritimes.

Responsibilities
As a Service Technician - Mechanical Lifts with Prime Lift, you'll play a key role in keeping our customers up and running safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

Installing, inspecting, and servicing automotive lifts and related shop equipment

Performing detailed safety inspections and troubleshooting mechanical issues

Traveling throughout the Maritime provinces to service customers (day and overnight trips)

Completing electronic service reports and documentation accurately and on time

Managing service van parts and inventory

Working closely with our operations team to continuously improve service quality and efficiency

Identifying potential service and sales opportunities while on-site with customers

Responding to customer service requests assigned by the Service Coordinator

Following all company Occupational Health & Safety guidelines

Participating in ongoing training, mentorship, and shadowing opportunities
What your week looks like:

Most work is within HRM and mainland Nova Scotia
-
Day trips most days
-
Occasional overnight travel (~1-2 nights every couple of weeks)

All travel expenses covered

Dispatch from home with company vehicle
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and eager to learn, along with:

At least 5 years experience as an automotive service technician, millwright or similar mechanical trade experience

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Comfort with regular travel across the Maritimes (travel expenses and accommodations covered)

Day trips approximately weekly around mainland Nova Scotia

Overnight trips approximately bi-weekly

Valid driver's licence with a suitable driving abstract that demonstrates safe driving

A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
