INTRODUCTION:
Urban & Environmental Management (UEM) is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Contract Administrator to join our team of professionals to work with our civil engineering team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead Contract Administration for civil construction projects, specific to municipal infrastructure
· Preparing contract documents, schedule of quantities, forms of tender, special provisions/supplemental conditions.
· Quantity take-offs
· Periodic Field inspection / field reviews
· Research
· Prepare monthly status reports, budget updates, scheduling
· Prepare payment certificates, change orders, site instructions, clarifications, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Graduate of engineering program preferred (C.Tech., C.E.T., or P.Eng.)
· 4+ years related experience required
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Strong knowledge in AutoCAD preferred
· Experience with Buiterra an asset
· PEO/OACETT membership an asset
· Contract writing and experience with the Niagara Peninsula Standard Contract Document.
· Familiar with OPSD, OPSS, OPS.Muni an asset
COMPENSATION:
· Hourly rate commensurate with experience
· Competitive salary in the range of $65,000 to $85,000+ (depending on experience)

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
