Sales Representative – Roofing & Exterior Renovations

Job Description
We are looking for a confident, professional, and driven individual who can build strong client relationships, generate new leads, perform exterior inspections, prepare accurate estimates, and close sales.
This is a hands-on sales position. In addition to meeting with clients and generating sales, the successful candidate must be comfortable inspecting roofs, identifying damage, completing minor roofing and exterior repairs, and coordinating or picking up materials from suppliers when required.
The ideal candidate has experience in roofing, construction, exterior renovations, or restoration, strong communication skills, and takes pride in delivering excellent service from the first inspection to the signed contract.
Responsibilities
- Generate and follow up on sales leads
- Meet with homeowners, property managers, restoration companies, and other clients
- Perform roofing and exterior inspections throughout Manitoba
- Assess shingle, siding, flashing, eavestrough, downspout, and soft-metal damage
- Take clear inspection photos, measurements, and detailed notes
- Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and repair recommendations
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Close sales and help drive company growth
- Complete minor shingle, flashing, soft-metal, and exterior repairs when required
- Pick up and transport materials and supplies from roofing suppliers when required
- Coordinate projects and communicate with the office and installation teams
- Represent the company in a professional manner
Requirements
- Previous sales experience, preferably in roofing, siding, restoration, construction, or exterior renovations
- Roofing inspection and repair experience is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of shingles, siding, flashing, eavestrough, downspouts, and other soft-metal components
- Ability to identify roofing and exterior damage
- Ability to prepare accurate estimates
- Ability to generate leads, follow up with customers, and close deals
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable dealing directly with homeowners and commercial clients
- Comfortable using ladders and working at heights
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
- Valid driver’s licence
- Must have a reliable truck suitable for transporting tools and materials
- Ability to travel to job sites throughout Manitoba
- Comfortable using a smartphone to take photos, complete inspection information, and communicate with the office
