Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional individual to join our team as a Barber here at Gold standard Barberahop. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting clients with barbering and grooming services, maintaining sanitation standards, and supporting retail sales. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for barbering, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for all clients. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in the barber industry while contributing to a positive client experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Assist clients with barbering, treatments, and other barbershop services as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas, including styling stations and common spaces
- Upsell retail products and promote salon services to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in/out clients, and handling payments
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable services or products
- Support team members in daily barbershop operations to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality service delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, or front desk roles is preferred
- Knowledge of barbering techniques and sanitation protocols is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with clients and team members
- Ability to upsell products and services in a professional manner
- Friendly demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work during barbershop hours, including weekends if required

Pay: $34,400.00-$91,226.31 per year
