Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard/Crowd Controller to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring activities, managing crowd control, and maintaining a secure environment during events. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to handle various security situations with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Monitor designated areas to detect suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety protocols are being followed and identify potential hazards.
- Control access points by verifying credentials and managing entry and exit of personnel and visitors.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order during events or within the facility.
- Document incidents accurately through detailed reports for future reference and investigations.
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and implementing preventative measures.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with directions or inquiries while maintaining security standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement, surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and surveillance techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior quickly.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff, visitors, and emergency responders.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations professionally.
- Must be at least 18 years old with a clean background check.
- Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond swiftly in emergencies.
