The Lucky Penny Garderie – Revelstoke, BC
The Lucky Penny Garderie is a small, relationship-based, multi-age childcare program rooted in connection, community and curiosity. We believe in slowing down, building meaningful relationships with children and families and creating a space where learning is guided by children’s interests and grounded in the BC Early Learning Framework.
We are currently looking for a thoughtful, reflective educator to join our team in a part time temporary position with the possibility of a permanent extension.
About the Role
This position works within a small team supporting a mixed-age group of children. Our days include outdoor play, local outings, shared meals and a rhythm that balances child-led exploration with gentle guidance and care.
Scheduling falls within a 7:00am–5:00pm staffing window, with exact hours depending on qualifications and program needs. Flexibility is part of our culture and we value a work environment where efficiency and teamwork can support earlier finishes when appropriate.

Qualifications
- Early Childhood Educator (ECE)
- Please include your ECE certificate number and expiration date in your resume or cover letter.
- Valid Emergency Child Care First Aid & CPR
- Ability to complete a Criminal Record Check
A Note on Education & Growth
Supporting ongoing education is one of our core values. We are committed to helping educators continue their training through:
- Support accessing funding such as the Columbia Basin Trust training grant
- Assistance with practicum placements
- Support with coursework, textbooks, and scheduling
- Creating space for dedicated study time where possible
We are especially interested in candidates who are open to pursuing Infant/Toddler and/or Special Needs certification.
Compensation
Wage is based on education and experience.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
