Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Production Shop Assistant to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. This role involves assisting with assembly, equipment operation, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and familiarity with warehouse or manufacturing settings. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills and gain hands-on experience in production processes.
Duties
- Assist with the assembly of products using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently
- Operate a CNC Router
- Maintain inventory of parts and materials, ensuring proper storage and organization
- Help with loading and unloading materials within the warehouse or production area
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
- Support team members in completing production tasks on time and according to specifications
Skills
- Experience operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse environments
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes and equipment maintenance
- Proficiency with assembly tasks using hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical devices
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Prior experience with warehouse operations or industrial settings is preferred
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met
Pay: $17.85-$25.00 per hour
