Gaspard Cap and Gown is hiring reliable and professional Hood & Gown Attendants to assist during Camosun College Convocation ceremonies in Victoria, BC.
This is a great short-term opportunity for students or individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while helping graduates celebrate an important milestone.
Schedule
June 15, 2026: 9.00am to approx. 3.00pm
June 16, 2026: 8.15am to approx.6.00pm
June 17, 2026 : 8.15am to approx.6.00pm
June 18, 2026: 8.15am to approx.6.00pm

Responsibilities
- Provide welcoming and professional customer service to graduates and faculty/staff
- Provide graduates and faculty/staff with instructions as directed by the Gaspard Manager
- Assist with unloading and reloading regalia
- Unpack, organize, sort, and prepare gowns and hoods for ceremonies
- Hand out gowns and hoods accurately and efficiently
- Assist with collection and repacking of regalia after ceremonies
- Assist with setup and cleanup of the Hood & Gown space each day
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace
- Direct traffic within the Hood & Gown space if needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Gaspard Manager
Qualifications
- Preference given to current Camosun College students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Able to lift 20+ kg boxes and perform physical tasks efficiently
- Must have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) to be paid
Dress Code
- No jeans, shorts, skirts, dresses or tank tops.
- Clean, comfortable shoes required (runners permitted)
