Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Yard Hand to load landscape supplies and make deliveries . The ideal candidate will assist with loading, and organizing materials, operate heavy equipment, and ensure the smooth flow of goods within the yard. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation, and logistics management in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as loader, forklifts, and skid steer
- Delivering Landscaping materials
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of goods
- Organize and maintain yard inventory, ensuring proper storage and safety protocols are followed
- Operate heavy machinery safely in accordance with company policies and safety standards
- Support Landscaping-related tasks as needed, including material handling and site organization
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move materials or supplies around the yard or job site
Skills
- Strong understanding of safety procedures when working with heavy machinery and during material handling
- Must Have a Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of Landscaping/construction processes is a plus but not required
- This position is essential for maintaining efficient yard operations while ensuring safety standards are upheld. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and demonstrate a proactive approach to teamwork and safety compliance.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
