Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a leading medical equipment supplier in Cape Breton, NS, to hire a Customer Service and Office Administrator. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, staying organized, and ensuring customers receive excellent service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone, providing product and service information
- Schedule service calls for technicians and coordinate appointments for walk-in and phone-in clients
- Prepare invoices, process payments, and maintain accurate customer records
- Support daily office operations, including correspondence, filing, and data entry
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate order fulfillment and product availability
- Monitor and maintain office supplies to support smooth workplace operations
- Assist with employee scheduling and provide general administrative support to management
- Maintain strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience is required
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with sharp attention to detail
- Ability to effectively schedule and coordinate service calls
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, patient, and able to remain calm under pressure
- Comfortable working in a small office environment where flexibility and initiative are key
- Leadership or office management experience is considered an asset
