POSITION SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Services & maintains drainage systems across commercial, multi-family residential & light industrial properties.
- Cleans & clears drain lines, camera inspections, hydrojetting, rooter services, mainline repairs, catch basin cleaning, and preventative maintenance programs.
- Diagnoses drainage issues, recommends appropriate solutions, maintains equipment
- Available to work 8:00AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday and ability to attend occasional overtime call outs.
- Participate in rotating weekly on-call shifts with team member support to satisfy customer needs.
- Working mostly in the lower mainland, with occasional trips to the Fraser Valley and sea to sky corridor.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a tradesperson, a Red Seal in plumbing is an asset.
- Completion of year 3 (minimum) through a SkilledTradesBC recognized school.
- Familiarity with servicing high-rise mechanical systems.
- Valid Class 5 or 7 driver’s license and ability to provide a driver’s abstract.
- Dependable, works well under pressure independently & as part of a team.
- Takes pride in analyzing challenging problems and providing top-notch solutions.
- Demonstrates strong written & verbal communication skills with a positive can-do attitude.
- Ability to manage stressful situations with customers calmly & effectively.
WHAT WE OFFER
- $45.49 to $56.87/hr (includes a combined 12% for holiday & vacation pay)
- Additional six dollars and twenty-five cents per hour in RRSPs + Local 516 Union Membership (after probation)
- Additional hourly pay for Gas A or B tickets, FSR-BR, Cross Connection Control.
