Customer Service & Airport Operations Attendant - Job#NLAT001
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team in a casual capacity. This role supports daily front desk operations, customer service, light facility maintenance, and aircraft fueling coordination at Newfoundland and Labrador Air Transport (2013) Ltd. In Deer Lake, NL.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Customer Service
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
- Greet customers, pilots, and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner
- Process payments and issue receipts accurately
- Prepare and complete invoices, ensuring all required information is recorded
Aircraft Fueling Operations
- Assist pilots with fueling requests
- Activate fuel pumps prior to fueling operations
- Supervise fueling activities to ensure safety and compliance with procedures
- Deactivate fuel pumps once fueling is complete
Facility Maintenance
- Perform light cleaning duties throughout shifts.
End-of-Day Duties
- Ensure all invoices are completed and accurate
- Confirm all payments are processed and recorded
- Set office phones to call forward
- Tidy reception and public areas
- Verify fuel pump is turned off and secured
- Report any issues, incidents, or maintenance concerns to management
Requirements
- Valid Criminal Record Check (must be maintained)
- Successful completion of Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) training and authorization through Deer Lake Regional Airport
- Ability to comply with all airport security regulations and access requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain a clean, safe workspace
