Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable Mixologist to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will craft innovative and classic cocktails, provide exceptional customer service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role requires a strong understanding of beverage preparation, food safety, and efficient service to ensure an outstanding experience for all patrons. Familiarity with bar prep methods is an asset, including infusions, clarifications, foams, & batching.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and offering recommendations based on preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Manage multiple drink orders efficiently during busy hours through effective time management
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for change
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in inventory management
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings is preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work in a hospitality environment that emphasizes teamwork, hospitality, and high-quality service
Pay: $17.60 per hour
