The Elite Squad Association is a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening individuals, families, and communities through trauma-informed education, personal development, community safety initiatives, emotional resilience programs, and wellness-based support services.
Our mission is to help individuals build healthier relationships with themselves, others, and their communities through practical, accessible, and transformative programs.
Position Overview
We are seeking passionate and community-minded volunteers to join our Outreach & Partnership Development Team.
This role is ideal for individuals interested in community engagement, business development, relationship building, fundraising, nonprofit leadership, social services, public safety, mental health initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
You will help introduce our organization and programs to community organizations, government agencies, social service providers, educational institutions, corporate partners, and potential donors.
Key Responsibilities Community Outreach
- Contact community organizations and institutions by phone, email, and virtual meetings.
- Introduce The Elite Squad Association and its programs.
- Build relationships with potential community partners.
- Follow up with organizations regarding collaboration opportunities.
- Maintain outreach records and communication logs.
Partnership Development
- Identify potential collaboration opportunities with:
- Community organizations
- Social service agencies
- Educational institutions
- First responder organizations
- Municipal and government departments
- Corporate partners
- Assist in arranging introductory meetings and presentations.
- Support relationship-building efforts with stakeholders.
Fundraising & Resource Development
- Research potential grant, sponsorship, and donation opportunities.
- Identify businesses, foundations, and organizations that may support community programs.
- Assist in developing donor and sponsor outreach lists.
- Help promote community impact initiatives and fundraising campaigns.
Community Representation
- Represent the Association professionally and respectfully.
- Communicate our mission, programs, and community impact.
- Serve as a positive ambassador for the organization.
Qualifications
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable speaking with people by phone.
- Professional and friendly demeanor.
- Organized and self-motivated.
- Interest in community development, nonprofit work, social services, public safety, mental health, education, or fundraising.
- Experience in customer service, sales, community outreach, fundraising, business development, or stakeholder engagement is an asset but not required.
