DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Inside Sales Supervisor, the Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for monitoring our order in-box, processing orders from both our website and our distributors, and responding to customers in a timely manner via email and phone call. With their impeccable customer service skills and attention to detail, the Inside Sales Specialist is also responsible for maintaining information on backorders, tracking numbers, stock checks, and all other inquires related to purchase orders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitors the customer service email In-Box, responding to the following inquiries: Stock checks, Back orders & split shipments, General questions, Updates on shipments
- Take incoming calls from customers, ensuring proper phone coverage is always present
- Log calls and maintain customer information in the CRM system (Salesforce)
- Process and assign uninstalled claims through the CRM system
- Process all air freight orders, requesting quotes as needed
- Assign project ID numbers for various commercial and sales projects as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service when processing orders or monitoring back orders for customers
- Monitor and release orders into the warehouse, communicating order updates and/or modifications as necessary
- Process employee orders as needed
- Regularly maintain knowledge base of Schluter products and processes to ensure consistency and accuracy in daily tasks
- Send return merchandise authorization and Call Tag information by email for processing, reship, and/or fed ex pick up labels to customers
COMPETENCIES
- High School Diploma or equivalent degree
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a related position
- Perfectly bilingual, both oral and written
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possesses strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain a high level of organization
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions in this job grade, with the final offer depending on factors like experience, education, location, and other relevant considerations. Additionally, this role qualifies for extra benefits beyond the base pay range mentioned.
