Job Title: Hotel Housekeeper

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper
Job Summary:
The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas of the hotel. This role ensures a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests in accordance with the hotel’s standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas following hotel procedures and standards.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
- Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and remove trash in guest rooms and hallways.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or lost and found items to the supervisor.
- Restock housekeeping carts with supplies and linens as needed.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of guest information and property.
- Assist with laundry duties if assigned.
- Provide friendly and courteous service to guests when encountered.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- May involve exposure to cleaning chemicals.
