Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs using HEIDENHEIN controls (e.g., TNC 530, TNC 640)
Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements
Set up and operate CNC milling machines as needed for testing and validation
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining strategies for efficient production
Perform first-off inspections and make necessary program adjustments to meet quality standards
Troubleshoot machining issues, including tool wear, offsets, and program errors
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve cycle times and processes
Maintain accurate documentation of programs, tooling, and setup instructions
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the machining department
Diploma or certification in Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field
3 7+ years of CNC programming experience, preferably with HEIDENHEIN controls
Strong knowledge of CNC milling processes (3-axis / 4-axis / 5-axis preferred)
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T
Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM, or similar)
Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
