Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. We offer competitive wages with performance bonuses and benefits! We are seeking a certified technician, 3rd or 4th year apprentices will be considered.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on various types of vehicles. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, performing repairs on a variety of makes and models. Candidates with diagnostic experience and familiarity with gas and diesel repairs would be considered an asset. The position involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles including gas and diesel engines.
- Use hand tools, power tools, schematics, and specialized diagnostic equipment to identify problems and implement effective solutions
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
- Assist in assembly or disassembly of mechanical components during repair or maintenance procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly to clients
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Diagnostic and electrical experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, welding techniques, electrical systems, schematics reading, and industrial maintenance is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety standards in an automotive or industrial setting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
- Customer service experience is beneficial for communicating effectively with clients
