Job Description
We are currently looking for a reliable and caring Health Care Aide (HCA) to provide in-home support to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting)
- Support with mobility and transfers
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Companionship and emotional support
- Follow care plans and report changes to the care coordinator
- Maintain client privacy and safety at all times
Requirements
- Health Care Aide Certificate (Alberta or equivalent)
- Valid work authorization in Canada
- CPR & First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector
- Reliable transportation & Active Driver's license
- Experience in home care or senior care is an asset
Preferred Qualifications (Assets)
- Experience working with seniors and families from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Fluency in English is must
- Strong sense of compassion, patience, and reliability
