We are seeking a skilled and versatile Journeyperson or Apprentice Carpenter to join our team.
Journeyperson Candidates
Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in our construction projects. As a Project Manager/Journeyperson Carpenter, you will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry work, leading projects, and mentoring apprentices. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation and execution of our high-standard projects.
- Red Seal or Level 4 Carpenter Certification or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial carpentry.
- Perform advanced carpentry tasks including framing, finishing, and custom woodworking.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Lead a team of carpenters and apprentices, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, other trades, and clients to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
Apprentice Carpenter Candidates
- Valid class 5 drivers license
- Class 3 drivers license considered an asset
- Experience in residential construction practises including, concrete forming, wood framing, installing windows and doors, insulation and vapor barrier, interior and exterior finishes, roof coverings
- Experience working with wood materials, marking, measuring and cutting precisesly
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Fall arrest and elevated work platform certifcate considered an asset
- Level 1-4 apprentice qualifications in any accredited issuing province conisdered an asset
- Self-motivated, reliable, flexible and proactive with an ability to work in a fast paced environment;
- Demonstrated a history of safe carpentry related practices.
- Physical fit and able to lift 50 lbs if needed

- Demonstrates exceptional carpentry skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Has leadership qualities and the ability to mentor and train apprentices.
- Is proactive, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
- Comfortable with physically demanding tasks and able to lift upwards of 50lbs.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Has a truck to pull a trailer.
- Comes with tools.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proven track record of managing and completing carpentry projects to a high standard.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate your team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$40.00 per hour
