Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Business Development Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will play a vital part in driving business growth by engaging with clients, managing accounts, and supporting sales initiatives across various sectors. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help expand our market presence and foster lasting customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Support business development activities by researching potential clients, tracking leads, and assisting with follow-ups.
- Assist with client meetings, site/showing appointments, presentations, and external events as needed.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, marketing materials, and presentation documents.
- Maintain positive relationships with existing clients, community partners, non-profit organizations, and government contacts.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and support proposal preparation, client communication, and project opportunities.
- Maintain the sales pipeline by updating lead status, tracking opportunities, and organizing client information.
- Provide market feedback and client insights to support business development and marketing activities.
- Perform other related administrative, sales support, and business development duties as assigned.
Experience
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- Background or interest in construction, architecture, real estate, property management, or a related field is an asset.
- Strong communication skills; fluency in Mandarin is an asset.
- Outgoing, confident, and comfortable communicating with clients and external contacts.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales support, business development, marketing, or client-facing roles is an asset.
- Able to prepare basic quotations, presentations, and client-facing documents with guidance.
- Organized and able to track leads, follow up on tasks, and maintain accurate records.
Pay: $42,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
