Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience with warehouse operations, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for the transportation of goods, materials, or equipment to various locations.
- Assist with moving and loading items using forklifts or manual labor as needed.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time while adhering to safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries.
- Assist in warehouse activities such as inventory management, loading, unloading, and organizing stock when not on the road.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record suitable for commercial driving.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, or related fields.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual moving tasks safely.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and customers.
- Experience in warehouse environments or logistics is preferred.
