The Senior Accounts Payable Administrator will be someone with strong high-volume AP experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a positive, team-oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Process high-volume accounts payable invoices, vendor payments, cheque runs, employee expenses, and rental payments
Review and reconcile lease-related invoices and ensure rental payments are processed accurately and on time
Reconcile corporate credit card statements and support month-end close activities
Ensure accurate GST/PST processing and compliance
Maintain accurate financial records and support audits and financial reporting requirements
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and payment-related inquiries
Assist with process improvements and support the overall finance operations team
Key Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment, ideally within retail or manufacturing
Exposure to lease or rental payment processing is considered a strong asset
Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and formulas
Experience with ERP systems and Canadian commodity taxes
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
