Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen team member to join our food service operation. Duties
- Prepare and assemble menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Cook a variety of dishes while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or dining staff
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and cleanliness at all times
- Assist in meal preparation during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently under pressure
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and improve culinary skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
